Independent MP from Maharashtra’s Amravati Navneet Rana has complained to Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana alleging that Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut has threatened to kill him. Asthana has sent it to the Mumbai Police Commissioner and requested for a probe into the matter. The complaint against Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut was received on Tuesday. After high-level deliberations, he was sent to the Mumbai Police on Wednesday. In the complaint, MP Rana has said that he has a government residence in the North Avenue area. She belongs to Scheduled Caste. In 2014, he contested on a reserved seat against a Shiv Sena leader. Since then Shiv Sena workers and leaders are threatening him and spreading rumors that he has forged the caste certificate during elections. The MP said that the people of Shiv Sena are after him because his caste is Chambar.
Targeting Sanjay Raut
Navneet Rana said in the complaint that in 2019 he contested again and won against Shiv Sena. After this Sanjay Raut started targeting him on every stage. Made false statements against him on TV channels. Wrote, ‘Called me and my husband ‘Bunty Aur Babli’. Attempts were made to defame me and my community. On 22 and 23 April this month, when I was at my home in Khar area of Maharashtra, Raut sent his party workers to my house. The workers not only created a ruckus outside my house but also threatened me with dire consequences. They had also brought an ambulance and I was not allowed to leave the house.
Sanjay Raut said, Navneet Rana took money from Lakdawala, close to D gang
Mumbai, Pretr. Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut has claimed that Independent Lok Sabha member Navneet Rana had received a loan of Rs 80 lakh from film financier and builder Yusuf Lakdawala. Lakdawala, who died in September 2021 in Arthur Road Jail, had close links with the K D gang (Dawood gang). Along with this, Raut also questioned when the ED will investigate this aspect. Raut’s claim has been vindicated by local BJP leader Mohit Kamboj posting pictures of Lakdawala along with NCP chief Sharad Pawar, late Rajiv Gandhi and late Congress leader Vilasrao Deshmukh on Twitter. Answered and said that all the special people of Dawood are in front of you. Talking to reporters on Wednesday, Raut also wondered whether the underworld had connections to the political controversy over the recitation of Hanuman Chalisa like the 1993 Mumbai serial bomb blasts. She is trying to save, who has been arrested by the Mumbai Police on Saturday along with her MLA husband Ravi Rana. It is noteworthy that the Rana couple had announced that they would recite Hanuman Chalisa outside Matoshree, the private residence of Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. However, the Rana couple postponed their program after which he was arrested on charges of sedition and promoting enmity between different groups.
Sanjay Raut’s tweet

On Wednesday, Raut said in another tweet, Underworld connection: Lakdawala arrested by ED in a money laundering case of Rs 200 crore. He died in prison. Yusuf’s illegal money is now in Rana’s account. When will ED invite Rana for tea? Why is the D-Gang being saved? Why is BJP silent?
