Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has firmly stated that he has neither been in contact with Milind Narvekar, a close aide of Shiv Sena (UBT) president Uddhav Thackeray, nor has he extended any offer to Narvekar to contest in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls from any constituency.
Shinde, who leads the ruling Shiv Sena, made this clarification amidst swirling speculations regarding Narvekar’s purported offer to contest the Lok Sabha elections from a seat in Mumbai.
“I am neither in touch with Milind Narvekar nor have I given him any offer (to contest polls). He is with (Shiv Sena) UBT. I give him good wishes and he should stay happy,” asserted the Chief Minister in an interview with a news channel.
Once a notable figure within the undivided Shiv Sena, Milind Narvekar continues to hold significance as a key aide to Uddhav Thackeray.
