Hrithik Roshan revealed that he nearly turned down the iconic film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, crediting his ex-wife Sussanne Khan for persuading him to take on the role. The beloved movie, directed by Zoya Akhtar, also starred Farhan Akhtar and Abhay Deol in lead roles.

In a viral clip from an old episode of Preity Zinta’s show Close and Personal, Hrithik recounted how Zoya Akhtar insisted on having Sussanne present during the film’s narration to ensure he didn’t reject the offer. “When Zoya came to my house, she had a very important condition and the condition was that she wanted Sussanne to be there,” he shared.

Hrithik admitted that without Sussanne’s presence and encouragement, he might not have accepted the project. The film went on to become a significant milestone in his career, celebrated for its story, performances, and breathtaking visuals, and continues to remain a fan favorite.
