A police officer said Arbaz Khan was brought to the police station and while the case was being filed, he used an overhead telephone wire in a bid to strangle himself.
A 19-year-old youth arrested by police on charges of drugs consumption allegedly attempted suicide at Kanjurmarg police station on Thursday.
A police officer said Arbaz Khan was brought to the police station and while the case was being filed, he used an overhead telephone wire in a bid to strangle himself.
He was rushed to Fortis hospital where his condition is stated to be stable.
Khan has been kept on a 24 hour watch at the ICU in the hospital.
