Observers on X (formerly Twitter) suggested the earrings might be audio devices, leading to various theories about their purpose.
The earrings in question resemble Nova H1 audio earrings, which are designed to look like stylish accessories while functioning as wireless earphones. Some users claimed that Harris could have used them for receiving assistance during the debate, although no concrete evidence supports this.
One social media user noted, “It appears Kamala Harris was being coached by using earphones embedded in her earrings during the debate against President Trump.” Another user expressed intrigue over the earrings, comparing them to similar tech articles about earphones that resemble earrings.
Others argued that the earrings might actually be Tiffany HardWear pearl earrings, pointing out design differences that set them apart from the Nova H1. A user even shared a picture of Tiffany earrings, priced over $3,300, which are no longer available on the Tiffany website.
Kamala Harris is known for wearing pearls, often as a nod to her Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority affiliation. Photos of her wearing similar pearl earrings at various events suggest that this style is a personal choice rather than a tech accessory.
Despite the social media frenzy, no credible evidence suggests that Harris used the earrings for external assistance during the debate.
