Mumbai, November 12 – Veteran Bollywood actor Govinda was discharged from CritiCare Asia Multispeciality Hospital in Mumbai after a brief health scare. The 60-year-old actor was admitted on Wednesday when he reportedly lost consciousness.
Hospital Visit Following Dharmendra’s Health Update
Govinda had visited actor Dharmendra at Breach Candy Hospital a day before his own hospitalisation. Videos of Govinda leaving the hospital surfaced online, showing him looking somber. Fans quickly expressed concern for his health.
Doctors Confirm Stable Condition
Dr. Deepak Namjoshi, who supervised Govinda’s treatment, shared updates with TV9:
“Govinda has been discharged. He felt uncomfortable, and his blood pressure fluctuated, but all tests are normal.”
The actor’s medical team emphasized that he is now stable.
Lawyer Confirms Health Update
Govinda’s lawyer, Lalit Bindal, told India Today that the actor had felt unwell before going to the hospital. Bindal added:
“He was feeling disoriented. All tests are complete. We are waiting for the neuro consultation report, but he is stable now.”
Past Hospitalisation Incident
This is the second hospital visit for Govinda in a year. In October 2024, he accidentally shot his knee with a licensed revolver that misfired. The incident occurred early in the morning while he was preparing to leave for a show in Kolkata.
