At the G20 Summit in Johannesburg, Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India joined Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to launch the Australia-Canada-India Technology and Innovation (ACITI) partnership.
The alliance aims to boost cooperation in key areas such as clean energy, resilient supply chains, and critical minerals. It also focuses on the development and wide adoption of artificial intelligence.
Experts say the formation of ACITI shows that global technology leadership is moving beyond a few dominant countries, signaling a more multipolar world in innovation and tech.
This partnership encourages shared research, investment, and technology exchange, helping all three nations strengthen their roles in global tech development.
